The Thatching Advisory Services (TAS) was founded in 1974 and concerns itself primarily with quality management.  As an organisation however, it also provides a wide range of services to the owners of thatched properties most notably its maintenance of a geographical approved thatchers database.  Adam is the TAS approved thatcher for Salisbury and its surrounds (which broadly encompasses parts of Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset).

My Aim

My team and I aim to provide a comprehensive thatching service that is both prompt and reliable and where the customer is kept well informed throughout.  It is important to us that we deliver the highest standards of workmanship and we therefore limit our operation to the running of just one site and we make no use of sub-contractors.  We are thus able to deliver a continuous service to the customer with all work completed in an agreed, and realistic, timeframe.

Looking after the Customers

We offer a free, no obligation consultation and quotation service.  We will visit your property, conduct an assessment and then discuss the various options, and their associated merits, with you.  A joint decision as to the course of action will then be agreed prior to our submitting a written quotation.  The process should ensure a customer feels equipped and able to make an informed decision regarding the maintenance of their thatched roof in both the short and long term.
